What is the process for consulting before the tattoo?
Please send an email to DavidHaleTattoo@gmail.com. My wife will answer your email and let you know what the wait is. She keeps a running wait list and books me two months out, preference is given based on subject matter. So, she will go down the list and email you when she gets to your name. You’ll then schedule an appointment for approximately two months later, giving you time to arrange for travel if needed. Then, you’ll work out the details of what you want from the tattoo design via email. She can also set up a phone or in-shop consultation for you if needed. I usually do not have time to draw the designs ahead of time or send them via email, however we strive to always schedule enough time for each client to make any minor changes needed prior to beginning the tattoo.
David currently has a “pay what you see fitting” policy for tattoos. Clients are required to leave a $100 non-refundable deposit on any new projects which can be considered the minimum for the tattoo. Beyond the $100 deposit, any monetary exchange is entirely up to the client. This policy is intended to open David and family further to trusting the Spirit and relinquishing monetary pressure on the sacred act of tattoo. .
